Pokhara University in Nepal

Nepal government has a policy of adopting a multi-University system in the country for the growth of higher education. Under this sceem, Nepal government has adopted Pokhara University as the fifth University in the Country.

The Prime Minister of Nepal is the Chancellor of the University whereas the Pro-Chancellor is the Minister of Education. The Vice Chancellor is the Principal Administrator of the University.
